Hello! Based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. I’ve worked as a web developer for more than 20 years, have run my personal website on Eleventy for several years, and am now trialling CloudCannon as a way to let me use the SSG I love (Eleventy) on a project with non-technical collaborators.

Currently trialling CloudCannon to build a revamped website for the Melbourne Pen Show. Learning what all the dials and buttons do, and peppering the Support team with questions. I’m excited to have this community to draw on as I expand my knowledge of CloudCannon!

Hey all - my name is Michael, and I’m a web developer/marketer based in Perth, Western Australia. I work for an internet service provider, and have deployed a couple of :astro:, :svelte: and :11ty: sites here with CloudCannon, and am currently migrating some others away from needlessly bloated Wordpress installs! :raising_hands:

Also… some skeletons are not loading (top bar and cards). I would investigate that. If you need help reproducing this, send me a PM!

Hi everyone! I’m Justin Parsons. I work at Insight Creative, a small agency in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where I mostly build simple static websites for local SMBs!

For years we were a typical WordPress agency, building with janky no-code page builders. Luckily I was able to transition us away from this.

Today we default to :hugo:, :cloudcannon: and Bookshop and seem to be having great success!

I’m a big fan of CloudCannon and hope to continue to spread the word. More people need to hear about and use this amazing tool!

:waving_hand: Hey everyone! I’m Mike, cofounder and CEO of CloudCannon.

George (our other cofounder) and I met at high school where we started building websites in Internet Explorer 6 using nested tables, ColdFusion, and a sprinkling of JavaScript.

We later studied Computer Science together at Otago University where we learned the importance of semantic HTML, accessibility, and building sites that work without JavaScript. During that time, we started tinkering nights and weekends on a CMS that eventually became :cloudcannon:.

Over a decade later, we still strongly believe in those principles and it’s amazing to see this community growing around them too.

My first SSG was :jekyll:, then :hugo:, then my current favorite, :11ty: . Looking forward to learning :astro: next!

Kia ora everyone :waving_hand::grinning_face: I’m Ryan!

I’m one of the developers on the engineering team :cloudcannon: Ask me about our DAM integrations :beaver: and accessibility of the platform!

My go-to SSGs at this point are :11ty: 11ty and :astro: Astro.

Hello, nobody from Germany yet, it seems

I’m Joachim from Würzburg (near Frankfurt).
I’m really into Hugo :hugo: at the moment and build websites of all sizes with it.

I’m part of a small agency based in Nuremberg. Over the last few years I have convinced almost all of my clients to go static. Without CloudCannon it wouldn’t have been so easy to convince them all. Especially in projects with several non-technical editors and editors used to a visual editing approach, bringing up CloudCannon was a game changer.

I just want to say thank you for the tools and services you provide!
I also really appreciate that CloudCannon’s support is not hidden in some anonymous ticketing system, but with people who really care and follow the discussions over several months. Special thanks to @Tom_Richardson , who is a very kind person and helped me with all my questions from day one. Despite the time difference, which couldn’t be greater, the conversations always went smoothly!

Keep up the good work!

Joachim
