After a year of planning, design, and development, I’m excited to share our redesigned documentation site with you all. We’ve completely restructured how our docs are organized, and I’d love to hear what you think.
What’s changed:
We’ve adopted the Diátaxis framework to better organize content based on what you’re trying to do. Whether you’re learning CloudCannon for the first time or looking up a specific configuration key, the new structure should help you find what you need faster.
We’ve also split the docs into User and Developer sections. This means non-technical team members now have dedicated resources for managing content, teams, and billing, while developers get streamlined access to configuration references and technical guides.
Other improvements include dark mode support, better search functionality with Pagefind beta v1.5, and enhanced code blocks that adapt to your preferred theme.
We need your feedback:
The new site is designed around how you use our documentation, so your input really matters. I’m particularly interested in hearing from:
-
Non-technical users about whether the new structure helps you achieve your goals
-
Anyone who’s had search issues in the past
-
Power users who rely heavily on our docs
You can explore the new docs at cloudcannon.com/documentation, and I’ve written more about the redesign process over on the blog.
Feel free to share your thoughts here in the Docs Feedback section, through support, or via pull request on our open GitHub repo. Looking forward to hearing from you!
